Pods and cabins planned around a single night's sleep. Compact by design, with shared washrooms and lockers doing the rest of the work.

Large hotels first, with a gaming floor as one part of the property. Each entry looks at the rooms, the setting and what else is on site.

Hotels made of ice and snow, sculpted anew each season. One standing entry, visited in the far north of Sweden.
A hotel earns an entry when its category is the reason to stay there. A striking lobby is not enough. The art, the capsule, the ice or the resort has to shape the night itself.
Each entry sticks to features that are part of the hotel's lasting character: its building, its setting, its design. Things that change by the week, like rates and menus, are left out on purpose.
One page per hotel. A name, two short paragraphs and three tags. Enough to decide whether a place deserves a closer look, and nothing that pretends to be a booking.
